The Texas Tornado by Daniel York Colin Edwards rode the team Castrol Honda
VTR 1000 SP-1 to Victory in the World SuperBike Championship in 2000. Here
he is seen on his way to a race victory in the 2001 series. 2000 was the
year it all came together for the 'Texas Tornado', Honda delivered it's
new twin-cylinder bike the 'VTR 1000 SP-1 (RC51)' and Colin began the new
millennium with a double win in the season opener at Kyalami. He followed
this up with wins at Donington Park, Monza, Assen, and another double at
Oschersleben, fittingly winning the last race of the season at Brands

Down to the Wire
by Robert Tomlin Colin Edwards gave Honda racing another victory with an
inspired performance during the last race of the season to put rival Troy
Bayliss into second place. Bob's painting depicts the typically-aggressive
cornering style of the "Texas Tornado" in his winning leathers
as he threw the mighty Honda around the Imola racing circuit. Limited edition of 500 prints.
