Motorcycle racing art prints of Joey Dunlop. Quality art prints of motorcycle legend Joey Dunlop available from Art of Europe. Five times World Motorcycle Champion Joey Dunlop was tragically killed in 2000 while racing in Estonia. Joey started racing in 1969 and competed for the first time in the Isle of Man TT in 1976. His first TT victory was in 1977 when he won the Jubilee Classic on a Rea Yamaha. He went on to win 26 TT's, gaining 80 TT Replica's from 98 starts in a 25 year TT career. He also had 24 Ulster Grand Prix wins, a total that is unlikely to be surpassed. Joey not only directed his energies to winning races, for which he was awarded the MBE, but also to helping others and his charity work earned him a well-deserved OBE. Known simply and affectionately by all as 'Yer Maun', Joey Dunlop was a legend in his own lifetime.
