Gordon King. Gordon
King is one of Britain's most famous portrait artists, these superb

Gordon King was born in London in 1939 and studied art at Reading
University. He later trained as an illustrator, finally becoming
freelance at the age of 22.
He found his strength lay in portraiture, figurative work and
sporting subjects and when he received a corporate commission for a
limited edition from an original oil, his career in published work
began.
Widely acclaimed for his romantic images of girls, Gordon now
enjoys tremendous success, both with his original and published work.
